Want to create a Parisian interior in your apartment? Write down the ideas and tips

The design studio of Alexey Sushkov has created an impressive studio with a total area of 47 sq. m. The result is an unconventional apartment for a creative person, where everything reflects the owner's character and spirit, and all life scenarios are taken into account. The interior emphasizes 1950s France — we gathered ideas and techniques to implement a similar style.

Open Kitchen

A kitchen without upper cabinets adds an atmosphere of creativity and bohemian style. It's immediately clear that the focus here is not on having many items, but on aesthetics and style.

No Kitchen Apron

Kitchen aprons often draw attention or look utilitarian. Want to integrate the kitchen into living space? Skip the tiles and opt for a low edge made of the same material as the countertop. It looks amazing!

Open Windows

One of the differences between European and Russian interiors is the absence of curtains, blinds, or drapes. Open windows bring in more light and space, turning the urban landscape into unique decorations.

Glass Walls

Looking for something unusual or non-standard? Transparent walls are a great choice. In this interior, they replaced standard solid partitions. Glass panels let in light, visually preserve space, and privacy can be achieved with curtains.

Bathroom and bedroom partitions are arranged symmetrically, creating the feeling of a grand corridor from the entrance to the room and back.

Arches. Lots of Arches

To add elegance and a Parisian vibe to the interior, part of the walls were decorated with plaster moldings, and partitions were adorned with glass panels in the form of arches.

Black and White Tiles

Another very European touch is black-and-white tiles laid in rhombus patterns. In the entrance area and bathroom, they add dynamism to the space and support the concept of white walls and black contrasting partitions.

Mirrors

In small spaces, mirrors work to increase light and volume. They also help create a feeling of bohemian life, lightness, and joy.

Bathtub on Legs

A standalone bathtub with animal-like legs evokes classical French interiors. Yes, it might not be the most practical option, but it is undeniably beautiful!
