Paint and tiles were used for the finishing

Natalia and her husband decorated their apartment in light tones with bright accents. They came up with the entire design themselves, and some items were made by hand. They selected a lot of furniture at IKEA and repainted it themselves.

Originally, the bathroom and toilet were separate. But they decided to combine them because the bathroom was so small that they had to choose between placing a sink or a washing machine there. They demolished the entire box and rebuilt it from scratch.

The bathroom area was about 3.8 sq m. Natalia came up with the design and bought materials herself, while her husband brought everything to life with his own hands. He built the plumbing box, laid tiles, installed fixtures, mixers, doors, and painted the walls. The hardest part was installing the box and the toilet installation.

According to Natalia, the advantages of a bowl sink are that it is quite easy to install on any horizontal surface of any size, whether it's a cabinet or a wooden or stone countertop, and that there is useful space around the sink for various bathroom accessories. Also, it doesn't occupy storage space inside a cabinet like built-in models.

Wall-mounted cabinet — Velvex Klaufs 70.2Y.
Countertop — Velvex Klaufs 70 cm Satane.

The sanitary cabinet with slatted doors is both beautiful and budget-friendly. Natalia’s husband made it himself. All materials were purchased at Leroy Merlin. The doors can be painted in any color of choice. For the frame, you can use timber, rails, or wooden corners. You can buy cabinet hinges here — royal ones were used. Also needed are cabinet magnets, handles, and screws. The budget for the cabinet was up to 700 rubles.
