After the update, we achieved a very atmospheric and cozy interior. Compare before and after

Maria Pivovarova designed the apartment for her longtime client's mother. It was necessary to completely transform the 'killed' interior from Soviet times and create a modern setting suitable for living and relaxation.

Kitchen before renovation:

The kitchen is quite small, and it was necessary to completely update the finish and design a convenient and spacious cabinet. It was also essential to create a cozy and compact dining area.

Kitchen after renovation:

The cabinet was made to order. An integrated refrigerator, cooktop, oven, and 45 cm dishwasher were installed. There was still space for a work surface, and to increase storage capacity, the upper cabinets were made to the ceiling.

A square table with plastic chairs was placed in the dining area. The finish included frescoes and moldings that added luxury and elegance to the interior.

Bedroom before renovation:

One of the rooms needed to be converted into a full bedroom with a large bed. The client wanted to add color and possibly a print, as well as come up with an elegant window treatment.

Bedroom after renovation:

Knowing that the apartment owner really loves floral prints, the designer chose wallpapers with watercolor leaves in blue-gray tones that beautifully shimmer in natural light. The blue-gray was softened with textile in dusty rose to make the room more gentle and cozy.

Bathroom and toilet before renovation:

The bathroom and toilet in this apartment are separate and quite small, just like in all panel houses. The goal was to extract maximum from the space while creating a cozy atmosphere.

Bathroom and toilet after renovation:

The old finish was completely removed, and the plumbing was replaced. Large-format warm beige tiles were combined with wood-like tiles and elongated hexagonal blue tiles. The result was beautiful and airy.
