House from Scratch in 30 Days: All Details of the Final Construction Stage

Over the course of a month, we told how we built a modular house for the winner of the Avito competition: in 30 days, we managed to install utilities, set up the plot, plan the interior, buy furniture and decor. The informative project is coming to an end: it's time for the final stage, where we will show the completed house and share tips for everyone who wants or has already rented out property.

About the Kitchen

Since our house is for rent, the space was kept small: we opted out of upper cabinets and organized storage in the kitchen cabinet. This approach helped avoid overcrowding the room: especially since food preparation easily moves to the grill area.

The countertop is made of moisture-resistant MDF, and a water filter has been installed — drinking water comes directly from the tap. For a country house, this is a practical solution. The owner also plans to install a glass apron — this will help keep the area clean.

But you can buy a more budget-friendly and brand new model — hundreds of thousands of products for every taste and pocket, items from defunct brands and small workshops are waiting for you. All decor, plumbing fixtures, and furniture in this house were purchased on Avito. During each stage of construction, contractors found on Avito Services helped: they installed a septic tank, prepared the foundation, and removed construction waste.

About Lighting

All lighting cost 12,000 rubles. This includes several lighting scenarios: in the bedroom and dining room, rail lights were installed that are easy to customize according to your needs, and the wiring is hidden in the walls and controlled through a distribution board.
