We create cute and convenient spaces for four-legged friends

If you are a pet owner, it is necessary to provide not only all for the comfort of the owner but also take care of a corner for your pet in the apartment. Otherwise, the cat may sharpen its claws on the favorite puff, and the dog's fur might end up not on its bed but on your designer sofa.

We have collected interesting solutions that our heroes thought out for their four-legged friends. Be inspired and adopt them!

Laundry Room Combined with a Dog Area

Blogger Shauna Beltramo came up with an original idea: she placed a laundry room for her two dogs. Pets Guchi and Kodak sleep here at night and stay during the day when the owners are away from home.

The space is thought out to the smallest detail: the door is made of glass so that dogs don't feel trapped, and tiles were laid on the walls and floor — an excellent protection against the desire of pets to chew something. For decoration, they preferred classic tones of white and black, with places for bowls and a bed under the countertop. Another great life hack is a dog shower where the tray is elevated to a convenient height for both the owner and the pet.

Cute Personal Door for a Cat

Our heroine Ekaterina took care of her beloved cat Simba: she made a separate small door for him. The shape of the opening makes you smile, and the idea itself can rightly be called very practical.

The solution has a backstory: Ekaterina didn't want to install plastic flaps in the door, as they ruin the apartment's design. A small hole not only fits into the space and is convenient for the cat, but also delights the owner and all guests.

Cozy Corners for Three Pets

This apartment was designed by 3DDesign studio for a family with two children and three pets — two cats and one dog. It was necessary to plan a space for all fluffy favorites, and they did an excellent job.

In the kitchen's base cabinet, there is a pull-out section with bowls for food. In the living room, there is a real paradise for pets: cats have their own complex with suspended constructions that fit perfectly into the interior, and the dog can rest on a comfortable bed. To wash the dog after walks, a shower area was created in the guest bathroom.

Shelves for Dogs in the Living Room

Designer Irina Uzhintseva transformed a concrete-walled space into a modern and functional area. The pets were not forgotten either: the young family with a child has a cat and two dogs. The owners requested that the placement of animals be planned in advance outside living zones.

Irina decided to transform one of the bathrooms into a shower area so that dog owners could bathe them: comfort here is provided by an additional lower shower. Not less good a move — special shelves for animals in the living room, above which storage systems were built to the ceiling.

Functional Bedside Table

From a typical two-bedroom apartment, designers created a cozy nest for a young family. Comfort is evident in every detail: a soft sofa, projector, quality table, and thought-out storage system. The clients had a specific wish — to arrange a sleeping spot for the dog near the owners' bed.

Pet owners of small breeds should definitely take a look at this solution: a small table was installed next to the bed, under which a bed for the dog was placed. In the end, everyone was satisfied!

Convenient Tray for Washing Paws

In a compact one-bedroom apartment, every centimeter was used as efficiently as possible: designer Nina Ivanenko created a stunning apartment for a young girl and her French Bulldog. The client requested attention to the drying area for clothes — there was no balcony in the apartment, and floor drying would take up too much space.

Nina fulfilled all requests and came up with a great idea: an electric towel rack is located behind ventilated facades, and under it, there is a tray for washing the dog's paws.
