Party mood has entered the chat

For the entire year, in our regular section «Repair in Practice», bloggers have invited us to visit them to tell us how they managed to create a cool interior on their own. Today we decided to visit our heroes again to find out which Christmas trees they chose for their wonderful homes and apartments.

A large Christmas tree in the center of the house

Oksana Tsoy herself planned the layout of her house with a second light and even worked on its finishing by hand.

Oksana installed a three-meter Christmas tree in the spacious and bright living room. The main detail in decorating the tree was a candle-shaped garland, which gives the festive tree an especially solemn and elegant appearance.

Stylish variant for the bedroom

Maria, her parents and husband built a house in Vologda and designed and renovated the entire interior down to the smallest detail themselves without a designer or workers. The result is an infinitely cozy home in Scandinavian style with loft elements and just a touch of vintage.

This year, our heroes adopted a puppy whose teeth are still growing and who chews on everything. Therefore, they decided to do without a Christmas tree. A stylish yet festive solution was a small living tree in a woven basket and with a minimalist garland.

Minimal decor

Olya and her husband, son, and rabbit Lusya live in a small flat in Northwest Moscow. Our heroes refused help from a designer and decided to try their luck— it turned out wonderfully. The apartment owner loves making decorations by hand, which she describes in detail in her blog.

Olya didn't want to overload the Christmas tree with excessive decorations. She bought a star and paper toys at H&M Home, made a flag-shaped garland herself. Lights— two pieces of ten meters each— from «AliExpress». A few gold stars and snowflakes— at OBIE.

The main tip from Olya: «Do not create color noise by using toys and garlands of various colors. Combine colors close to nature, prefer natural decor: paper, wood, fabric».

Naturalistic Christmas tree

Ksusha and her husband built a house in Krasnodar. The couple came up with and did everything themselves, for example, the magnificent black kitchen was a long-time dream of our heroine.

Ksusha chose unusual Christmas trees for her interior— artificial Alpine firs from OBI. To maintain the natural look of the trees, they didn't decorate them with anything except warm light garlands.

In the bedroom, festive mood is created by the same naturalistic Christmas trees, red bedding, paper stars, and a New Year's wreath.

Even more garlands

Natalia and her husband decorated their apartment in light tones with bright accents, their yellow refrigerator became a real star of social media. They designed the entire interior themselves, and some items were made by hand.

There's never too many garlands: on the window, on the wall, and, of course, on the Christmas tree. However, what they once again refused to use were Christmas tree decorations. Well, the absence of toys doesn't seem to affect the New Year's atmosphere in the house at all.

Mini variant for table decoration

Anna created a cool Scandinavian interior in a typical flat without a designer with a budget of 2 million rubles. This year, Anna shared her experience with us and even revealed a detailed renovation budget.

Anna created the New Year's mood using interior decals, garlands, and, of course, a small tabletop Christmas tree.

A small Christmas tree in Scandinavian style

Anna created a bright, modern, harmonious, and comfortable family interior without a designer. Although our heroine doesn't consider her apartment to belong to any particular style, she definitely decorated the tree this year in Scandinavian fashion: wooden toys in the form of deer and stars, a garland with warm light, and even Christmas balls in knitted covers.
