Showing what was achieved

Budget apartment renovation — a dream for many owners. It seems impossible to fit the entire renovation into 900 thousand rubles?

Exactly this budget was set for the project of Lyubov Utkina, who was responsible for decorating a tiny studio for a young couple. Since the clients plan to rent out the property in the future, the designer had only one task — to create a basic interior with a sleeping area.

Let's see how it was implemented in practice.

Materials and Furniture

Expensive renovation was not initially planned, so the team saved on everything during the design process. Building materials were purchased at markets, and furniture — in well-known mass-market stores.

However, items from IKEA and Hoff were supplemented with Austrian chairs, and a picture above the bed was created from a piece of fabric and an IKEA frame.

The most profitable solution for Lyubov was German wallpaper Rasch with a decorative stucco effect. They look significantly more expensive than classic materials and make up the smallest portion of costs.

Kitchen

Since the studio has an elongated shape, zoning the kitchen and bedroom areas was done through an IKEA shelf. To expand the work surface, the countertop was extended to the windowsill.

The kitchen was implemented by a private company: standard cabinet units, pull-out sections, and wall-mounted drawers were installed.

Bathroom

The bathroom was also fully equipped with everything needed, including a sink, mirror cabinet, washing machine, and toilet.

The shower platform was reconfigured: the tempered glass of the shower enclosure had to be shortened. The shower with a water heater was cleverly disguised behind cabinet doors with a manifold unit.

Currently, IKEA wardrobes are standing in the room and a wardrobe in the hallway, but over time, the owners plan to install another one on the balcony.
