6 Super Useful Home Solutions We Spotted from Our Heroes
Thermostatic regulator for radiator, hooks in niche for curtain rod and warm windowsill. Why all this is needed?
Bloggers Anna Perelmut and spouses Ekaterina and Alexander Nechuynev shared their secrets that helped them organize their home. And we share them with you.
1. Hooks for Garland
In her apartment, Anna has everywhere niches for curtain rods for curtains. She decorated them from the outside with ceiling cornice for aesthetics. And inside, she mounted metal rods on which curtains roll. It turns out that from the room side, there is no curtain rod visible, it's hidden.

An interesting life hack was shared with us by Anna. Behind the curtain rod, she attached small hooks on which she hangs New Year's garland. They are not visible, so there is no need to constantly take them down. In our opinion, it's a very practical solution.

2. Thermostatic Regulator for Radiator
In all rooms, Anna installed thermostatic regulators on heating radiators. Thanks to them, one can set the desired temperature in the room, which is especially relevant in winter. Anna controls the thermostats from her phone. Very practical solution: for a deep sleep at night, one can lower the temperature in the bedroom, and during the day set it for comfortable rest.

3. Sliding Door for Space Saving
Not every housewife can boast of having free meters in the apartment. For example, Anna had a sliding door in her son's bedroom, which is only 7.5 sq. m. When opened, the door hides between the wall and the cabinet and does not create obstacles.

4. Curtain for Cats in Door
We share another interesting life hack that the owner really likes. Cat lovers will definitely appreciate a curtain for cats in the door. This way, the bathroom door is always closed and protects the room from unwanted noise and odors. Owners of dwarf dogs may also find this solution appealing.

5. Warm Windowsill
In their home, Ekaterina and Alexander implemented the idea of a kitchen sink by the window. Note that in the countertop made of artificial stone, there are no gaps or holes for heating the window. Alexander shared his secret with us: he made a warm windowsill. He raised and routed the pipe intended for underfloor heating under the windowsill. Therefore, the 50 cm zone from the window is fully heated. The window never fogs up, and on the warm windowsill, it's convenient to dry everything.

6. Dishwasher After Sink
Another technically useful solution was shared with us by Alexander. It is an essential placement of the dishwasher after the sink. Why? The dishwasher drains water under pressure, so it simultaneously flushes out the drainage pipe that comes from the sink. This is very useful for preventing clogs. Alexander also recommends not to skimp, but to buy a 60 cm dishwasher right away. Because 45 cm dishwashers don't fit pots and pans.
