VOLMA-Слой Plaster This series includes three types of plaster: VOLMA-Слой (30 kg) Universal A dry plaster mix based on gypsum binder, suitable for leveling walls and ceilings for subsequent wallpapering, painting, or tiling with ceramic tiles. This series includes three types of plaster:

VOLMA-Слой (30 kg) Universal

A dry plaster mix based on gypsum binder, suitable for leveling walls and ceilings for subsequent wallpapering, painting, or tiling with ceramic tiles. Optionally, a glossy finish can be achieved without the need for further sanding.

Consumption: 8–9 kg per 1 m² (layer thickness 10 mm).

Layer thickness: 5–30 mm.

Drying time: 5–7 days.

Water consumption: 0.6–0.65 l/kg.

VOLMA-Слой Universal: price for 30 kg dry mix ≈ $9.8.

VOLMA-Слой

This is a hand-applied plaster also based on gypsum binder, suitable for application on concrete, brick, gypsum blocks, aerated concrete, Gypsum Board (GKЛ), cement-lime plasters, etc.

Consumption: 8–9 kg per 1 m² (layer thickness 10 mm).

Layer thickness: 5–60 mm.

Drying time: 5–7 days.

Water consumption: 0.6–0.65 l/kg.

VOLMA-Слой МН

Gypsum-based machine-applied plaster, suitable for the listed tasks performed mechanically rather than manually.

Consumption: 8–9 kg per 1 m² (layer thickness 10 mm).

Layer thickness: 5–30 mm.

Drying time: 5–7 days.

Water consumption: 0.55–0.6 l/kg.

VOLMA Акваслой

Additionally, the corporation offers a range of cement plasters for use in humid areas and beyond — the VOLMA Акваслой series, consisting of both hand-applied and machine-applied plasters.

VOLMA Акваслой hand-applied — a lightweight cement plaster for leveling walls and ceilings indoors and outdoors. Suitable for use in kitchens, showers, bathrooms, saunas, etc. A final finishing layer is required after plaster application.

IMPORTANT! This material must not be used for floor leveling.

VOLMA Акваслой can be applied to concrete substrates (as well as to slag blocks, aerated gas concrete, and ceramic aggregate concrete), surfaces previously plastered with cement-sand or cement-lime mixes, and masonry made of silicate or ceramic brick.

Consumption: 11–12 kg per 1 m² (layer thickness 10 mm).

Layer thickness: up to 60 mm for filling holes, up to 30 mm for walls, up to 10 mm for ceilings.

Water consumption: 0.28–0.3 l/kg.

Full work cycle time: 24 hours for hand-applied VOLMA Акваслой, 48 hours for machine-applied VOLMA Акваслой МН.

Price: VOLMA Акваслой hand-applied ≈ $7.4 per 25 kg; VOLMA Акваслой МН ≈ $7.3 per 25 kg.

Use of Additional Materials

When using VOLMA plaster products, it is recommended to apply:

  • for gypsum plasters — VOLMA-Универсал, VOLMA-Интерьер (for highly absorbent substrates), VOLMA-Контакт (for improved adhesion to concrete substrates), VOLMA-Пласт (for highly absorbent substrates such as foam or gas concrete);
  • for cement plasters — VOLMA-Универсал (for brick surfaces made of ceramic or silicate brick), VOLMA-Контакт (for concrete and low-absorbent substrates), VOLMA-Пласт (for foam and gas concrete), and for machine-applied plasters, it is recommended to pre-treat the surface with VOLMA-Обрызг to a thickness of 3–5 mm (available for $6.7 per 30 kg).
