Artist-decorator Anastasia Filimonova analyzed the office interior from the series 'Emily in Paris', from which you can take many interesting solutions for your own interior.

Anastasia Filimonova is an artist-decorator. She creates interior abstractions and advises on decor choices. She is convinced that art should be present in every home.

About the series: I admired the outfits, interiors, and streets of Paris. Somewhere I was irritated by naivety and stupidity, but the overall aesthetics of the series won out.

American Emily relocates from Chicago to Paris for work. She is transferred there for a year to develop the marketing direction in the Parisian office of a partner firm. Emily doesn't know French, does not understand cultural specifics, and has no friends in Paris. However, gradually the girl adapts, finds new friends, and even love.

The series does not aim for seriousness but immerses in a colorful atmosphere filled with lightness and charm.

Entering the office, we find ourselves in a bright corridor. The French style is characterized by spaciousness, and this feeling is immediately evident in the office thanks to high ceilings and a light color palette.

The walls are finished with wooden panels: buazery is classic French interior design.

At the reception desk, we see distinctive features of French style: all items are in similar tones — light gray, muted pink, beige, and gold.

Simple shapes, lack of complex decor, but at the same time many interesting details that blend into each other smoothly.

In Emily's boss's office, walls are in noble shades of gray-beige, with illustrations featuring geometric patterns.

By the way, French style is characterized by plant or geometric ornaments. Note how details complement the overall interior design: a table lamp, a glass airy table with gold chairs made of thin rods.

Wall panels in noble gray-blue tones, narrow tall windows that let in plenty of light. French style is characterized by comfort, restraint, lightness, and nobility. Such design will appeal to connoisseurs of art, creative and refined souls, romantics.

Photographs are framed in thin metal frames. A beautiful crystal white chandelier, as well as thin tables and shelves with gilding, frequently found in office rooms, make the interior elegant and thoughtfully carefree.

Emily's workspace is located in a hallway of the common room. Here we see details in muted tones: a table with white wooden legs, a light chair made of rods, and an abstraction with geometric patterns in burgundy and pink shades above the table.

The abstraction fits into this office and becomes a bright accent, complementing the pen cups and flower pot. An elegant oval side table in a pink shade used by Emily for personal items.
