12 Harmful Habits in Cleaning You Should Give Up
You can endlessly postpone deep cleaning or give up a few harmful habits and quickly tidy up your home.
Don't Sort Paper Waste
Paper dust is harmful to health, and a cluttered desk looks untidy. Set up a special bin for paper. Or at least sort it once a week.

Heap Wet Towels in a Pile
Damp fabric is an excellent place for mold to grow. Therefore, curtains and towels should not be stacked on the floor but sent to the laundry and then immediately hung out to dry.
Use Too Much Cleaning Product
It seems that if you add more product or powder, your home will be cleaner. But if you go overboard, the cleaning product won't rinse out completely and will dry on surfaces, attracting even more dust.

Don't Clean the Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Immediately after cleaning, disinfect all tools with water and cleaning product. Otherwise, there's no point in the next cleaning session, and you'll only spread dirt around. By the way, replace your mop every two months.
Use Only Wet Wipes
Disposable disinfectant wipes are good for quick cleaning of small areas. Ideally, the wipe should contain enough product to keep surfaces moist for up to four minutes.

Store Cleaning Products Where It's Convenient
Keep them in one place so you don't waste time searching for them each time. For example, collect all bathroom cleaning products in a bag or plastic container and hide it under the sink.
Don't Clean the Refrigerator
If you can't clean it regularly, make it a rule to clean the refrigerator during cleaning time. To ease the process, periodically dispose of expired or unnecessary food items, which also prevents mold growth.

Don't Read Instructions for Cleaning Products
If the product doesn’t work, it doesn’t mean it’s bad. Perhaps you’re just using it incorrectly. For example, some products need a bit more time to remove stains.
Don't Make the Bed
Cleaning the bedroom but leaving the bed unmade is a bad idea. The room will look untidy. But you won’t forget about it if you make the bed right after waking up.

Use Aggressive Cleaning Products
With these, it's easy to overdo it and damage floor or bathtub surfaces. Moreover, strong chemicals are toxic and unsuitable for cleaning homes with young children or pets.
Dust at the End of Cleaning
This should be done first. Otherwise, you’ll just sweep dust onto a clean floor and have to wash it again.
Constantly Get Distracted
How many times, starting a cleaning session, have you checked social media or got distracted by conversations? This will surely stretch the cleaning process to several hours and make it less effective.
