How to Create a Truly Cozy Interior?
We tell you what your apartment should look like to make you want to come back after a hard day. To achieve this, it's enough to choose appropriate finishing and add the right accessories.
Together with Leroy Merlin experts, we find out how to make an interior comfortable and harmonious and what you'll need for that.
Put Your Bet on Wood
It feels good to the touch and makes the interior feel 'warmer'. For example, designer Julia Shadrina used toned oak strips in the dining and bathroom areas and decorated the wall opposite the bed in the bedroom with Italian panels. By the way, the bar counter and entryway zone were made from solid wood. Also, oak engineered flooring was laid on the floor.

Choose Natural Colors
White, beige, brown, green, terracotta — natural tones look great in any interior. Designer Ruslan Kirnichansky says that warm tones are better for furniture, while cool colors should be chosen for walls.
Designer Oleg Mints in one of his projects chose a cool gray for the walls combined with light wood. The 'vibrancy' is provided by furniture — a green sofa and yellow armchair. Natural colors make the atmosphere of this apartment lively and cozy.

Provide More Light

Install ceiling lights, floor lamps, or wall sconces in the living area or next to the bed and don’t forget about shelf and cabinet backlighting.

Complete the Interior with Textiles
Soft throws and decorative pillows in the bedroom and living room, tablecloths and towels in the kitchen can make the interior cozier. Of course, textiles are the easiest way to change the mood of an interior. All you need is to change the color of pillowcases or hang new curtains.
