How to Decorate a Micro-Apartment Cheaply: Example from Sweden
No matter how small the apartment is, it always has a couple of bonuses and advantages. In this one, with a modest area of 26 square meters, there are several right away.
The main 'ace up the sleeve' of the apartment is the alcove provided for by the layout. Decorators from the Swedish agency Entrance makleri managed to organize sleeping space in it, separating it with a transparent partition. The ready-made 'bedroom' accommodates a bed and a chair where you can fold clothes.

Another important detail is the presence of a separate room for a wardrobe in the hallway: in small spaces where everything is visible, having closed storage places is worth its weight in gold.

To define the living room area, a light sofa and a coffee table on thin legs were complemented with wall paintings and a fluffy carpet on the floor. Books and various small items can be stored on open shelves — they don’t take up much space and break up monochrome walls.

The dining area was placed next to the partition near the sleeping space, and a foldable table was designed for it. If a large company comes to visit, the table can be moved to the center of the apartment.
The refrigerator and kitchen utensils are 'hidden' in furniture cabinets, and the built-in appliances were chosen minimalistic and 'lifestyle', as if continuing the living room. Even the apron was not tiled. By the way, the question of stains from splashes on the wall is solved by a high mixer with a slide-out spout and a deeper sink.

The color palette in this project is typical Scandinavian, with a predominance of gray, white and contrasting black. To give the interior individuality, and make the black color look more interesting, the decor developed motifs of Dutch flower still lifes. In short, nothing complicated or overly expensive: tested methods and a little creativity always work.
