Mirror Kitchen and Invisible Bedroom: Apartment in Vilnius
Working on this puzzle apartment was nothing new for designer Indre Sunklodata: the interior in Vilnius from her portfolio that we told about earlier is also full of clever tricks and illusions.

But this 2-room apartment is even more impressive. With only 49 square meters, it seems bigger than it actually is. The first trick: Indre designed both the wall and the door with decorative panels, giving the impression that there are no doors to the bedroom or bathroom at all. Only the hardware gives them away.

The second trick is mirror cabinetry. Behind these, Indre hid the wardrobe and also used mirror finishes in the kitchen area to make the apartment feel brighter and more spacious.

The kitchen in this interior is probably the main 'player'. Despite its small size, it's designed in a U-shape and has plenty of cabinets and shelves. Additionally, the kitchen smoothly flows into the dining area, which is also quite spacious. The cherry on top is convenient open storage for bottles, adding elegance and luxury to the interior.

Soft tones combined with warm metals are very popular in Indre's projects. This interior is built on shades of gray and blue. To avoid the restrained palette looking boring, Indre introduces it into the setting using graphic patterns and textured fabrics.

In the bedroom, the designer decided to cover the headboard with tweed, throw on a woolen blanket, and wallpaper the wall with ombre-effect wallpapers. In the bathrooms, they laid black-and-white tiles in a patchwork style, and in the living room, patterns appeared... on the ceiling. Reflected in the mirror cabinetry of the kitchen, they add dynamism and flair to the interior.

Since storage is hidden and the doors are well disguised, nothing distracts from the beautiful furniture, tactile materials, and perfectly planned space. That is exactly what was needed.
