Even if you have a limited budget for renovation, it's not worth cutting corners on some items: plumbing fixtures, taps, front door, windows, and radiators. Many manufacturers offer quality products at reasonable prices.

Linoleum is going out of style – choose high-quality laminate or even engineered wood. Walls can simply be painted after proper preparation. Don't overlook cornices and skirting boards: they won't significantly increase the cost of the renovation but will add neatness and completion to the interior.

It's important to plan all elements during the design phase so you won't have to order them later. By saving on standard furniture, buy a designer light fixture or side table that will become an accent in the interior.
