Glass partitions, smart TV, ethnic motifs

It's not always necessary to do a full renovation or re-planning: sometimes just a few details can transform your familiar interior. Here are the solutions we recommend.

1. Glass Partitions

Designer Anna Veretennikova solved the problem of insufficient light in an interesting way: she replaced traditional doors with glass partitions. With their help, she separated the corridor and bedroom area. The result was stylish and practical. Transparent walls visually expanded the space and made it brighter.

2. TV Art

Art lovers will appreciate the idea of hiding a TV among paintings. The new Samsung The Frame model fits perfectly into such an art space. You can install your favorite photos or canvases of famous artists on the screen. You can buy these artworks in the pre-installed Art Store app.

Another advantage is that you can choose a frame and passepartout color that matches the artwork. The TV can be mounted directly to the wall with no gaps or visible cables.

Another option is to place the Samsung The Frame TV on a stand like an artist's easel. The smart cable management in the stand eliminates tangled cables around the TV forever.

3. Original Doors

A regular door to a walk-in closet can serve not only functional but also aesthetic purposes. Designers Viktoria Zolina and Anna Chevereva eliminated the clutter of doors in the utility area of the apartment by hiding the entrance to one of the rooms behind a large artwork from floor to ceiling.

4. Bio-Kamin in the Bathroom

The bathroom is not just a hygiene space but also a relaxation area. Aroma candles and foam waves cannot compare to a bio-kamin – that’s what truly promotes full relaxation! It doesn’t take up much space (you can use built-in models), does not require a chimney or complex exhaust systems, and is resistant to moisture.

5. Ethnic Motifs

Designers love to experiment: it’s how truly original eclectic interiors are born. You can also add oriental notes to your apartment: carpets, cushions, or wall prints with ethnic patterns (provided the room is predominantly in neutral tones) will bring a special charm to the setting.

6. Play with Light

An unusual chandelier can refresh and diversify your interior. Designer Valeria Senkina used a light fixture made from painted metal frame with decorative bottles inserted into it in her project. If you have time for creativity, you can experiment and create your own designer masterpiece.

Another option is to completely abandon traditional lighting fixtures. Yuri Zimenko found an original solution: LED backlighting and built-in spotlights fulfill the lighting function. He painted the cutouts in the ceiling to look like brass with a patina effect and illuminated them with LEDs – it looks very refined and emotional.

7. Suspended Armchairs

Standard sofas and furniture pieces will look more interesting in this combination. Don't forget to provide free space (at least 50 cm) around each chair so you can sway freely.

8. Movie Projector in the Kitchen

A dream for movie lovers: a ceiling-mounted projector allows you to watch your favorite films with a cup of coffee. Before installation, make sure the screen is away from the cooking zone. If there’s a lot of light in the room, it's better to hang blinds or roller shades on the windows.

9. Invisible Bed

Designers Artstudio designed a fold-down bed: when assembled, it looks like a wall panel. Ergonomic solution provides maximum free space and serves as an additional sleeping place for guests.
