6 New Trends in Interior Design
When discussing trends in interior design, we decided to approach the topic quite broadly: which trends will be relevant this fall and what objects should interior designers pay attention to?
1. Sofas in Mid-Century Modern Style
Nostalgia for the 50s–60s, which a couple of years ago was perceived as a temporary trend, has now become one of the current trends. Flowing smooth shapes, ergonomics, thin straight and slanted legs made of metal or wood — this is the furniture trend leading today.

2. Green Corner
Putting in palm or ficus planters is not a big deal, but it's important to integrate plants into the overall interior concept. For example, wall compositions with shelves and greenery fit perfectly into modern and Scandinavian interiors. Vertical mounting rails set the rhythm of space, and lush greenery promotes relaxation.

3. Colorful Tableware
For lovers of experimental details, porcelain manufacturers offer dishes with bold shades this autumn. At the same time, new seasonal collections show a general trend towards “dusty” tones. Green, blue, pink, black look more interesting with the addition of gray color. Trendy milky, pearl-gray, anthracite, terracotta-brown, red, and crimson shades of tableware are great in monochrome schemes or combined with each other or classic white porcelain.

4. Armchair
Interesting trends have emerged in chair design too. First, they've become significantly lower; second, they've merged with the form of chairs in such a way that it's sometimes hard to tell what exactly is before you. Many armchairs also lose their volume, which allows them to fit even into small rooms: this is a big plus.

5. Bohemian Chandelier
Lavish and voluminous chandeliers with suspensions and crystal elements are returning to their throne — especially in the context of modern interiors as an art object. Combined with the above-mentioned mid-century furniture forms, they look particularly interesting and distinctive.

6. Fireplace in Apartment
The autumn rain drives us back into the house to warm up. This is the perfect time to use modern bio-fireplaces suitable for city apartments — thanks to biofuel and compact dimensions. By the way, some types of biofuel also smell nice: citrus or vanilla aromas positively affect the body and lift the mood.
