A few words about how to carve out a couple of square meters, avoid clutter, and make life easier

You don't have enough space to move around, all jars and pots are scattered on top of each other, and there's no room to chop vegetables for a salad? It seems like it's time to change your kitchen! We will tell you how to do it simply and quickly.

1. Create a Niche

A niche is an excellent helper in expanding space. In a large niche, you can fit a folding table, and small ones can be used for storing dishes and spices.

2. Hang Shelves

Put on the shelves what you use every day, and voilà – no need to constantly open cabinet doors. By the way, open shelves visually look much 'lighter' than other storage systems, making the space feel more airy.

3. Use the Window Sill

An excellent working surface, storage space, and even a table – all this is your window sill now, a universal and convenient solution.

4. Don't Forget the Dishwasher

Do you have to wash a lot of dishes every day? You're creating problems for yourself unnecessarily: today's manufacturers produce very narrow appliances (45 cm wide), which can fit even in the smallest kitchen.

Moreover, dishwashers save water and electricity efficiently.

5. Remove the Door

Why do you need it in a small kitchen? Remove it – save space and finally have room to move around, and use powerful ventilation to deal with odors.

Keep in mind: this idea can only be implemented if the safety requirements allow it (check with BTI).

6. Install a Slanted Hood

This is an excellent solution for kitchens where there isn't enough space for a large wall-mounted hood. Thanks to the slanted surface, more space becomes available above the work zone while cooking.

7. Plan Lighting Properly

You don’t have to hang a large light fixture – it takes up a lot of space and doesn’t illuminate your kitchen well enough. Choose spotlights above the work surface and table instead.

8. Keep Only What You Need

Do you really need a full-size oven, multiple burners, cabinets, and several sets of tableware? A small kitchen loves minimalism – keep only what's necessary, and it will be easier to work in it.
