Villa Lungen is a stunning modern home designed in the Scandinavian style. It is located near Hollvik on southern Sweden. The villa is surrounded by a pine-rich plot, creating a beautiful natural atmosphere. The building is located just steps from the sea in southern Hollvik, southern Sweden. The area is rich with tall pines, and this plot is no exception. The project includes three structures: the main house for the owner, a garage, and a small cabin for an elderly relative.

Life here is typical of a standard single-story home, with proximity to the forest, sea, and a neighboring nature reserve ensuring constant interaction with nature. The main goal of the project is adaptation to the site, creating cozy spaces with unique tactile qualities.

The facades are clad in various types of Siberian larch, while the alcoves feature another variety of larch panels. The main building is clad in smooth high-quality wooden panels with minimal knots and has an elegant curved ceiling. Screens and eaves are made from plywood sheets. The structural framework is wooden with a large chimney. Floors are built using Danish bricklaying, including the path from the street to the entrance.

The kitchen, dining area, and living zone are arranged around a large central space that extends beyond the fireplace into a winter garden with sliding doors.

The garden, designed by landscape architect Anders Follesson, is inspired by the unrefined state of the plot with narrow paths leading through heather and moss.
