US House by Bittar Arquitetura
Bittar Arquitetura designed the US House in a residential zone of the state of Goiás, Brazil. Nearly 6,000 square feet of excellent modern living space is distributed across a single floor with an impressive interior courtyard. The interior opens up to this courtyard, providing easy access to the terrace and pool.
In implementing the project, we considered our clients' needs and wishes while adhering to residential complex management rules. We created a balance by integrating the surrounding topography into a modern architectural theme. We emphasized straight, long, and simple lines without abrupt changes in the construction size. Glass doors unite the interior and exterior into a dynamic, functional, and well-lit space.
Wide external stairs lead to the balcony, and together with the living room and dining area, they create a unique space that embraces nature. The living room and dining room doors open to the terrace, pool, and garden, continuing the theme. These outdoor areas form an internal courtyard with external walls, allowing for bioclimatic advantages in ventilation and lighting.
A large wooden panel opens to the kitchen, creating unity among all zones (social, leisure, and functional), while also concealing one of the bathrooms in the corridor. All this connects to the private area, where four bedrooms are located tucked away at the back of the property.
