Made from quartz sand and other minerals, regular glass, also known as float glass, does not undergo any special treatment to improve safety or enhance protection from sunlight.

Due to its simple production, regular glass is the cheapest option on the market.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is considered one of the safest types against impacts. This type consists of two layers of glass separated by a polymer film. When broken, this film holds the shards and prevents them from scattering, providing greater safety on site.

The thickness of laminated glass ranges from 6 mm to 10 mm, reaching up to 12 mm in special cases. Laminated glass is widely used in facade and balcony enclosures, as well as in railings, doors, shower stalls and windows.

Tempered glass is another popular type, often used in projects where safety and high strength are required.

This type of glass is made from regular glass but with the difference that it undergoes high temperatures and then rapidly cools down. This makes tempered glass five times stronger than regular, and when it breaks, it shatters into small pieces without sharp edges.

However, after manufacturing, it cannot be altered. Therefore, projects using tempered glass are made to custom sizes. Tempered glass can also be painted and receive thermal and sound insulation treatments. Main applications include doors, windows, balcony enclosures, countertops and shop fronts.

Fire-Resistant Glass

Fire-resistant or fire-retardant glass prevents the spread of fire indoors and helps contain smoke.

Fire-resistant glass is produced by tempering, making it a type of tempered glass but more resistant to high temperatures.

One of the most popular types of decorative glass, mirror glass requires no additional comments.

Its applications are wide and bring many benefits to interiors, such as the feeling of expanded space, better distribution of natural light and a clean, modern aesthetic look.

Safety glass is the most suitable option for doors, including box doors, and windows. It can be laminated or tempered.

It is more resistant to impact and can be used with sun protection films to increase thermal comfort at home.
