The art and beauty of the Nga tree with its small leaves, vitality, and refined form became the main source of inspiration for the architects. As a result, an enchanting residential house was created where modernity and cozy traditions blend.
Together with the use of old doors and contemporary details, the house exudes nostalgic charm and harmoniously fits into the overall atmospheric background that has formed over many years.
Carefully planned to overcome challenges of a narrow site, the house offers a warm color palette with earthy tones and fired clay tiles that enhance its rural charm. The exterior is adorned with glazed green tiles featuring ethnic patterns contrasting with a rough brick front yard, creating a unique and harmonious corner for residents.

Nga is the name of a tree with small leaves, vitality and refined beauty that directly inspired this project. This house is located on a narrow street within a residential complex for university professors. Therefore, when creating the project, architects aimed to propose something new yet harmonious with neighboring houses.
Using some old doors and integrating them into the space with modern elements, we strive to preserve the nostalgic appeal of this new house while ensuring its blend with the community atmosphere that has formed over many decades. Communities who lived here and moved away have contributed to this ambiance which is neither too modern nor outdated for the area. This is what we aim to preserve in this project. Due to restrictions of the narrow alley, we carefully planned the project from the start allowing for convenient construction technology and minimizing impact on the already established neighborhood atmosphere.

The main color scheme of the house includes brown, earthy orange tones and red hues from fired clay tiles along with warm wood tones. Additionally, we used small neatly placed mosaic tiles in various zones to create accents within the structure. We also integrated different types of linen and bamboo curtains to add a raw, natural note to the home. Although we understand that using such curtains may be challenging, we prioritize them so residents can experience a traditional lifestyle through daily activities.
For the exterior, the project uses glazed green tiles with ethnic patterns complemented by a rough brick front yard that creates necessary contrast and highlights the rural fence appearance, adding a unique detail to the house. In conclusion, the Nga House combining modernity and antiquity, uniqueness and harmony will create an enchanting living space for its inhabitants while maintaining its unique identity in this collective residential area.
