Modern Concept of a Home Office in Tashkent

In the heart of Tashkent, The Big Picture redefined the modern home office by creating a space that seamlessly blends professional efficiency with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Designed for a private client, this elegant office serves as a multifunctional environment for business meetings, corporate events, and personal gatherings. Placing comfort and elegance first, the project transformed a large commercial hall into a private and intimate sanctuary.

Transition from Traditional Office Design

Moving away from classic office layouts, the design replaced rigid conference rooms with flexible and cozy zones. Instead of expansive open spaces, the office offers carefully selected cozy corners that facilitate meaningful conversations, informal meetings, and relaxed communication. A private office for the client, an assistant's workspace, and necessary technical rooms were integrated into the design ensuring both functionality and comfort.

Inspired by Architectural Flow

The rounded facade of the building directly influences the organic flow of interior space, enhancing a sense of openness while preserving a cozy atmosphere. Two walls are left unfinished, providing the client with a developing canvas for art collections and temporary exhibitions. This dynamic approach turns the office into a space where architecture and art intertwine, constantly evolving in response to its inhabitant's vision.

Balance of Comfort and Local Craftsmanship

To counter the hustle of urban life, the design team selected a set of warm wooden finishes, plush fabrics, and soothing textures. The use of custom curved furniture creates a relaxed atmosphere, making the workspace resemble an elegant lounge rather than a typical office. Nearly all materials were sourced locally, highlighting a commitment to sustainable development and community involvement. Together with local artisans, The Big Picture skillfully combined modern European influences with the rich cultural heritage of Tashkent. Selected imported elements such as marble and travertine from Iran were carefully chosen to harmonize with the local design.

Collaboration with Global Experts

This project is a testament to The Big Picture's philosophy of combining global knowledge with local craftsmanship. Collaboration between professionals from Berlin, Krakow, and Tashkent enabled a synthesis of international influences with regional authenticity. Every element was carefully considered to create a space that radiates energy, inspiration, and a deep sense of belonging.
