The difference before and after the renovation is dramatic

Designer Olga Kondratova took on the bold task of arranging a bathroom in a pre-revolutionary income house built in 1903. The main goal was to create not only a beautiful, but also a functional interior that meets modern requirements.

The bathroom and toilet in the apartment are separate. In the 'before' version, they looked half-destroyed — bare dirty walls with peeling paint and visible utilities. It was necessary to improve functionality and find space for a washing machine in the new bathroom.

The main bathroom was slightly enlarged by using part of the corridor, which allowed placing all necessary elements without compromising comfort. Here a full-size bathtub, toilet installation, washing machine, sink, wall cabinet, and vanity unit were arranged harmoniously. This ensures convenient use and sufficient storage space.

Niche shelves were provided in the bathroom area, which add functionality and offer a place for storing accessories and cosmetics. Plumbing made of brass adds a stylish and elegant look to the space. This element is not only practical but also perfectly complements the designer's vision, adding warmth and comfort to a modern interior.

The guest bathroom is decorated with a door made of mirror. This trick visually enlarges the space and fills the small hallway with light.

An architectural highlight was a niche opening that previously served as a window. Now it is decorated with an arch and covered with colorful wallpaper. A compact sink, storage cabinet, mirror, and candle-style wall sconce are conveniently placed in the niche, enhancing the atmosphere of the old building.
