We've gathered great solutions that help make the most of every square meter

In small apartments, it's important to find unconventional storage solutions to make the most of limited space. We've collected several effective ideas from professionals.

Organize storage up to the ceiling

The layout of this studio initially required additional storage solutions, and the designer proposed several simple yet genius ideas. The long narrow corridor was transformed into a convenient storage system with attic spaces and lighting. The compact kitchen was also designed with an emphasis on rationality: each cabinet is carefully planned, and upper drawers are used not only for kitchenware but also for items that aren't needed daily. This helps maintain order and frees up space on the work surface.

Hide workspace and storage behind curtains

Despite the modest area, this bedroom successfully accommodates a full wardrobe and workspace with shelves. Behind the curtains, various storage systems for items, documents, and stationery can be installed, making access easy without compromising the overall interior style. This approach saves space and hides the workspace and storage from view, creating a cozy and private atmosphere.

Design multifunctional furniture

In this small children's room, an original design was implemented. The cabinet smoothly transitions into a loft bed, under which spacious drawers for toys and other items are located. Next is the desk. One side of the cabinet features a tall shelf for storing books, textbooks, and stationery. Thus, all furniture elements blend harmoniously, creating a comfortable and functional space.

Use a bar counter instead of a dining table

In this 22 sq. m studio, there's a bedroom, living room, kitchen, entrance with storage, and a bathroom. Space was saved by choosing a bar counter instead of a dining table, complete with storage systems. Additional sections allow for organization and quick access to all necessary items. This makes the bar counter not only a stylish interior element but also a practical storage solution.

Use space around the TV

Despite limited square meters, this single-room apartment is equipped with enough storage systems. For example, a cabinet with glass doors was provided for storing beautiful dishes, and the space between windows was turned into a functional zone using a tall shelf. Another convenient solution that maximizes every centimeter is open shelves around the TV, where decor items, books, or DVDs can be placed. This approach helps maintain order and creates a stylish and functional viewing zone while preserving valuable room space.
