This bright kitchen in a typical Moscow Khrushchyovka was designed by designer Olga Pushkareva. The clients have already done a reconfiguration and moved the entrance from the corridor to the living room. Olga refined the existing layout, maximizing the passage space. This allowed placing a P-shaped cabinet, increasing useful area and work surface.

The last renovation in the apartment was about 20 years ago. The kitchen had a trendy archway in the 'zeroes' era, inside which an outdated corner cabinet with an overhang was installed. It was necessary to plan a modern layout and create a stylish and cozy space with ample storage.

The apartment is gasified, so a sliding glass partition was installed between the living room and kitchen. According to the owner, it protects from unwanted odors during cooking. The walls are painted with washable paint in a dusty green color. The countertop features tiles from a Spanish brand with grout of the same shade. The patterned floor tiles are laid out beautifully like a carpet.

The kitchen is designed in the shape of a 'P'. There's plenty of storage space behind the doors and in the pull-out drawers. The kitchen includes a 45 cm dishwasher, a 4-burner cooktop, an oven, an extractor hood, a microwave oven, and a separate refrigerator.

The countertop continues onto the windowsill and along the wall. This allows creating a convenient spot for quick breakfasts and snacks, placing household appliances, and organizing additional storage under the countertop. A large display case was designed for beautiful dishes.
