This beautiful and atmospheric mid-century style interior was designed by our heroine Ksenia herself, without a designer. We've gathered interesting ideas and great solutions from the project that deserve attention.

Anfylada LayoutThe apartment has reinforced concrete slabs and no load-bearing walls. Therefore, we carried out a legal reconfiguration and transformed it into an anfylada layout along the windows. This allowed us to use square meters to the maximum and let in more natural light.
Window in the KitchenA small window was added between the kitchen and bathroom to let natural light into the bathroom. The graphic frame makes it part of the decor — the window looks very stylish and beautiful.
Mirrored Cabinet BaseA bold and unusual solution — the base of the kitchen cabinet was finished with mirrors. It creates a floating effect, adding visual lightness.
Retro ItemsThe highlight of the living room was a cozy relaxation area. It was arranged in the best traditions of retro: two small shelves, an accent chair, a "Rigonda" radio, and real Soviet pop music.
Beautiful Room ZoningThe bedroom was divided into two functional zones: a sleeping area and a home office. As a partition, a shelf was used, designed according to Ksenia's plans and reminiscent of Soviet-style furniture.
Accent WallThe wall behind the bed was painted green and complemented with a floral wallpaper. It creates a beautiful visual effect and defines the sleeping area.
Thoughtful StorageKsenia’s bathroom storage system was designed by a designer. It's a functional cabinet: one side features closed doors for towels and household chemicals, while the other side has an open section for storing cosmetics and hygiene items.
