This beautiful and atmospheric mid-century style interior was designed by our heroine Ksenia herself, without a designer. We've gathered interesting ideas and great solutions from the project that deserve attention.

The apartment has reinforced concrete slabs and no load-bearing walls. Therefore, we carried out a legal reconfiguration and transformed it into an anfylada layout along the windows. This allowed us to use square meters to the maximum and let in more natural light.

A small window was added between the kitchen and bathroom to let natural light into the bathroom. The graphic frame makes it part of the decor — the window looks very stylish and beautiful.

A bold and unusual solution — the base of the kitchen cabinet was finished with mirrors. It creates a floating effect, adding visual lightness.

The highlight of the living room was a cozy relaxation area. It was arranged in the best traditions of retro: two small shelves, an accent chair, a "Rigonda" radio, and real Soviet pop music.

The bedroom was divided into two functional zones: a sleeping area and a home office. As a partition, a shelf was used, designed according to Ksenia's plans and reminiscent of Soviet-style furniture.

The wall behind the bed was painted green and complemented with a floral wallpaper. It creates a beautiful visual effect and defines the sleeping area.

Ksenia’s bathroom storage system was designed by a designer. It's a functional cabinet: one side features closed doors for towels and household chemicals, while the other side has an open section for storing cosmetics and hygiene items.
