How to Beautifully Arrange a Studio Apartment: 5 Successful Design Solutions

This bright studio was decorated by designer Masha Yashina. The interior is based on neutral light finishing, enhanced with beautiful and cozy details. We share effective solutions that helped make the apartment stylish, functional, and comfortable for living.

They divided the single space with a partition between the kitchen and living area. Niches for seating and utility block were created in the wall near the kitchen. They opted out of a door from the room to the hallway. The functional zones look independent, giving the feeling of being in a two-bedroom apartment.

The walls were painted with washable white paint. It reflects natural light well, easily combines with other colors and tolerates any accessory change. On a white background, natural materials and textured decor gain special clarity and look more expressive.

Kitchen furniture was chosen with standard modules and white fronts. They visually dissolve into the surrounding space and help maintain order in the room.

The project feature is the use of stripes in wall finishing, in the structure of blinds that cover the utility block instead of doors, and in textiles. Vertical and horizontal lines create movement and rhythm in the space, preventing it from looking boring or monotonous.

A stylish rug, a sofa in soft velvet, soft cotton curtains, voluminous textiles — thanks to the intertwining of materials of different textures and fabrics, the living room-bedroom became very warm and cozy. Woven furniture added sophistication and brought a sense of lightness, airiness, and comfort to the interior.
