How to Properly Organize Corridor Lighting: Standards and Tips
Let's figure out what well-designed corridor lighting should look like.
In most apartments, the entrance hall is not distinguished by large dimensions. The most effective way to make it brighter and more spacious is to set up proper lighting.
When you come home, the first thing you look at is yourself in the mirror, take off your shoes and hang your upper clothing on hooks. That is why the light here cannot be dim.
First, you need to develop a unified lighting scenario, namely the number of lamps in the entrance hall and the principle of their placement.
In country houses, windows are often installed in corridors so that natural light can enter. In apartments, emphasis is placed on ceiling lights, avoiding bulky chandeliers and shades. Hanging lamps only visually narrow the already cramped space.
Sometimes local lighting scenarios are created in corridors, such as backlighting for mirrors or shelves on the wall. Decorative elements like LED strips and spotlights are also added. However, all this can only be used as supplementary lighting.
