Training our eye and adopting successful solutions

Renovating an apartment in a new building differs significantly from renovating an old one. When you receive the keys and find yourself in a concrete box, many questions arise: what materials to use, how to plan the space better, and where to start. Based on our heroes' examples, we show how to create a modern and most importantly comfortable interior in a new building.

Two-bedroom flat with an atmosphere reminiscent of beach vacation

The client wanted the apartment to be filled with a holiday vibe by the sea. Designer Dmitry Kondakov achieved this effect using neutral tones, maritime notes, and an original art panel. The blue hue made the space deep and calm, while sandy walls served as a good backdrop. The furniture and floor in brown-red tones became an original accent on the variety of textures and naturalness. Every detail was thought out to perfection: even the dishes fit perfectly into the interior — glass and wood imitation surfaces were preferred.

In the ideal apartment, the owner saw lightweight furniture built into niches. To fulfill these wishes, models from Mr.Doors were chosen: for example, in the kitchen-living room there is a light cabinet located under the TV and a practical cabinet that can accommodate everything needed and even more.

By the way, the furniture was selected in the main project colors — white, blue and natural oak veneer.

Functional Interior with Oriental Motifs

Designer Olga Berkova had to decorate a modern space with an oriental spirit and also find room for a separate bedroom, hookah lounge and sauna in the studio. So several functional zones appeared in the apartment — kitchen, lounging area, living room and bedroom.

"The separate bedroom was achieved thanks to the large wardrobe on one side and a partition with matte glass on the other. The kitchen zone was conditionally separated by a decorative laser-cut partition," Designer Olga Berko said.

To create an oriental atmosphere, decorative plaster was added, dark tiles with gold details, ethnic patterns and luxurious purple tones.

Furniture for the living room and lounging area was found in the "8 March" factory's range. What a striking accent sofa and an unique model with colorful print are worth! Without them, the atmosphere in the space would have been completely different.

Maximum comfort on a 35 m² area

The apartment owner asked designer Julia Telnova to transform a small studio into comfortable living space. Among the required solutions were spacious storage systems, a full-size bed and a well-thought-out kitchen — the client loves to cook. Julia successfully completed the task: the interior in a restrained color palette is worth looking at for hours.

To make the apartment spacious and functional, the bathroom was combined with another room. The living room was connected to the kitchen and balcony — a dining area was placed right there. The highlight of the project is a cabinet that separates the kitchen and living room, combining functions of a console, dresser and shelf.

Special attention should be paid to the bedroom furniture, which not only harmoniously integrated into the interior but also ensured practicality. You can store things in both the wardrobe and the niche under the bed with a special lifting mechanism from MZ5. This is the best move for compact spaces.

French Character and Abundance of Light

Designer Inna Azorska developed an amazing project for a young woman — an unobtrusive space with comfortable furniture and minimal decor. Nevertheless, the apartment has everything needed for a comfortable life, while bright accents make the atmosphere more lively and original.

The kitchen features an island with a designer exhaust hood and a mirror backsplash. For finishing, decorative paint was chosen — this helped create the effect of a pearl wall. On the bedroom walls are cozy textile wallpapers, and storage systems are maximally integrated into the interior.

Despite the cool color palette, the apartment cannot be called harsh — on the contrary, it looks airy and refers to European character. Elegant notes are hidden in details: for example, bedside tables from Neopolis Casa that would look great in a large French mansion or an unusual stand in the entrance hall. Of course, important roles were played by art objects — large paintings on walls are worth studying like in a gallery.

An Apartment for Travelers You Want to Return To

Designer Anna Pavlovskaya managed to create a vacation atmosphere in the new building: clients love traveling, and the house should be a place they always want to come back to, host guests or spend a warm evening in the family circle. The project was created from concrete walls: the space was divided into public and private zones, a circular passage through the kitchen was organized, and natural materials were used in finishing.

Storage systems were made built-in to avoid overloading the interior with bulky furniture. Minimalist models of dishes were left on surfaces — they perfectly fit into the palette and atmosphere of the space. If you want to recreate the designer's ideas while saving money on furnishing a new building, help will come from the hypermarket network "YOUR HOME": upon filling out an application via the link, you will receive a 10% discount.
