We already told about the wonderful house in Krasnodar, which Ksusha and her husband built themselves. The technical part of the question and planning were handled by her husband, who is involved in construction. Ksenia herself was responsible for design and decoration. The couple came up with everything on their own and made it all by themselves, and despite the fact that the renovation is not yet complete, the house already looks amazing. The black kitchen became a real highlight of the house, so we decided to tell more about it.

We have a large kitchen-living room of 35 m². Why large? Because half a year ago our entire apartment was only 35 m².

I've always dreamed of having a kitchen-living room like this. I will be able to cook and at the same time spend time with my family. This is now our favorite place for spending time.

The kitchen area is about 10 m², practically without upper storage. I love open space and the air effect. I chose a black kitchen, black wall, and black appliances, but thanks to the windows, it’s very bright. There is no feeling of gloom at all. Although everyone discouraged me from the black kitchen, even the furniture makers themselves. We ordered the kitchen from a regular local furniture company. It cost us 130 thousand rubles. The countertop made of artificial stone separately, around 100 thousand.

Most of the appliances we bought gradually and in advance, with discounts. Since we had plenty of time on hand, we literally waited and monitored promotions. For example, one of the discounts made our kitchen exhaust cost 14 thousand rubles instead of its regular price of 28 thousand. We also managed to order the kitchen and sofa before prices rose. Since we did the renovation during the pandemic, prices increased significantly.
