How to Create a Flower Greenhouse at Home: 6 Ideas from Pinterest
A simple, eco-friendly, and not always expensive way to decorate your interior is with plants. We tell you how to create flowering gardens in your apartment, even if you don't like watering flowers or know nothing about them.
Before creating a garden in your apartment, keep in mind some details. For example, which direction the windows face or how demanding the plant is (prefers sun or shade, how often it drinks water, etc.).
However, if you don't have time for all this, here is a list of the most low-maintenance plants: sansevieria, epipremnum, scindapsus, monstera, zamiokulkas, and all succulent varieties in general. An automatic watering pot will help with the "drinking".
Jungles — for large spacesIf the space allows, you can create real jungles in your apartment — hanging vines from the ceiling, large container plantings, big cactus groups, plants with textured large leaves, or all at once. In this case, the plants will be the main and only decor in the interior.
Add botanical decor here as well. For example, flower upholstery for furniture or botanical sketches on the walls. A neutral background—white or gray—is better for such a burst of colors.
To avoid spending money on expensive pots, use regular ones and hide them in wicker baskets from IKEA.
Vertical greenery — for small spacesIn studios and any other small spaces, walls are great for greening. Attractive planters look nice.
For those who don't like making holes in the ceiling and walls: consider trailing plants (hanging down) — they look great on shelves, dressers, and bookcases. You can also let them run along a partition between rooms. It's an excellent way to decorate and at the same time zone space.
For small areas, you can also use small-diameter plants with large leaves. To avoid occupying workspace, place them in corners.
