Kitchen-living room with an island and dining table
The designers were tasked with combining two apartments into one, creating both public and private spaces. A large area was dedicated to the kitchen-living room to comfortably accommodate several functional zones.
The island stands in the center of the room — here there is space for legs and bar stools were placed. A full dining zone was arranged nearby.
A large six-person dining table The IDEA was placed by the window. It was complemented with comfortable chairs with rounded backs — they allow you to relax and feel as comfortable as possible.

Kitchen-living room with a countryside vibe
Designer Irina Nosova managed to create not only an affordable but also beautiful interior in this 2-bedroom apartment in central Moscow. A linear kitchen unit with a built-in refrigerator was installed in the kitchen-living room. In the center is a large dining table, opposite to which there is a comfortable sofa where one can settle in comfort. A hammock was also hung here, resulting in the perfect spot for rest and family tea time.
Some accessories and furniture, such as the dining table, pendant lights, and sofas, were ordered from craftsmen in regions — this helped save money. The massive beamed table was complemented with IKEA chairs.

Kitchen-dining room with a bio-oven
The designers Irina Kireeva and Anna Piskun were inspired by Normandy for this interior — it's a restrained design with bold red-brown accents.
It was important in the layout to create a kitchen that is combined with a dining room where guests can be received. For the dining zone, they chose a rectangular table with a pair of chairs and a long bench in the same style. One of the favorite details in the kitchen is a bio-oven in a construction design. Decorative stucco was applied on top to look like wax: the shade resembles labradorite stone.

Beautiful dining area in a country house
The clients envisioned their country house interior as cozy but not formal or stuffy. For this, designer Maria Bezuglova used natural motifs and vibrant colors. For the kitchen-dining room, she chose bright yellow and balanced it with gray-beige and brown tones.
In the dining room, a large dining table from Bragindesign was placed and complemented with chairs in mid-century style. During the day, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, there is a lot of natural light here, and in the evening, the lighting comes from an attractive chandelier with multicolored pendants.

Cozy dining room in a log house
This estate was decorated by designers Anna Morozova and Konstantin Doronchenkov for a large family, so it was important to provide a spacious area for the dining zone. For this reason, they decided to move it into a separate hallway room adjacent to the kitchen and living room.
As in other rooms in the house, the walls, ceiling, and floor were decorated with logs. Colorful accents were added through textiles and décor. A large carpet covers the entire dining area, making the dining room seem even bigger.

Modern kitchen with an island-table
The main feature of the kitchen-living room is a combined island and dining table. It’s very convenient: the island can be used as a work surface for cooking or as extra seating for guests when a large group gathers.
Modern kitchen-living room design was diversified by classic elements — moldings. These were used to decorate the wall near the dining area. The TV and bio-oven were also placed on this same wall.

Vibrant kitchen-dining room in a small apartment
The clients asked designers from the Stone.Arch studio to decorate their new home in the style of Italian apartments from the 60s with cheerful tones and vintage details. The kitchen-dining room turned out particularly cozy.
The dining group was placed next to the kitchen cabinet near the window. An ordinary windowsill was transformed into additional seating, and a folding table was chosen — it can accommodate at least eight family members.

Kitchen-living room with three functional zones
For the clients, it was important to maintain a sense of spaciousness in the relatively small space — a house slightly under 100 square meters. The designers of the Astar Project architectural bureau divided the entire area into a common space for the kitchen-living room, where the family can rest and entertain guests, and private rooms.
To make the kitchen-living room more convenient, it was also divided into functional zones: a work zone with a linear cabinet and compact island, dining area, and relaxation zone. Each of these zones had its own lighting scenario designed and different wall finishes selected. The unifying material in the interior was floor ceramic granite with a wood texture.
