Original design and interior will leave no one indifferent

Today we'll tell you about a small guest house built by blogger Elena Bogdanova on her dacha plot.

The 45 m² house is located 50 km from Moscow in the Istra district. The total budget for the entire house was 900 thousand rubles, including the smallest decor and textiles. It turned out very clean, comfortable, and cozy—a place you don't want to leave.

The panoramic windows of the guest house face south, bringing in more sunlight, warmth, and comfort. Elena plans to beautify the view of the fence with a living fence.

The house is built using classic frame construction with insulation, allowing year-round living. On the first floor, there's a radiator and heated floors in the bathroom. The second floor is not heated at all: due to the triangular shape of the structure, all heat rises to the top.

The house is 80% built from wood. Therefore, the first thing guests notice inside is the divine scent of pine.

The standout feature of the house is the internal staircase. Elena wanted it to serve a secondary function beyond just being a staircase, so she came up with the idea of an air shelf.

During the design phase, they opted out of traditional railings. Instead, vertical slats were used, which also serve to separate the living room area.

The living room features a very comfortable fold-out sofa with two extra sleeping places. Opposite it is a lounge area with very eye-catching suspended swings.

The swings are mounted to a wooden beam, into which lighting was built-in. Additionally, Elena decorated it with a loft string of lights.

Elena initially rejected classic facades on the kitchen. She wanted the kitchen to be a highlight of the interior and designed everything herself.

A mint-colored wall, yellow refrigerator, and sliding wooden drawers containing all the essentials for guest accommodation.

The small storage area in Elena's tiny house includes a water heater, vacuum cleaner, fire extinguisher, Wi-Fi, and additional guest items.

On the second floor, there's a large 2×2 m bed. The lighting is controlled crosswise, and of course, there's a blackout curtain on the small square window.

The accent pink door made from solid pine on loft guides hides a charming bathroom. The first thing that catches the eye in the bathroom is the wall-mounted sink by the window with a view of the forest.

The shower area accommodates all the latest trends: hexagonal ceramic tiles in two formats and an accent wall decorated with “fish tail” tiles.

Each tile was handmade, giving them slightly different shades and making the overall look organic.
