A café with a unique, unforgettable style, interior, and atmosphere will surely attract customers. The design concept for this café draws inspiration from the coziness and romance of an old attic – a mysterious "treasure island" in a vintage house. There's something for everyone! Charming vintage items you can't bear to throw away, a faint mysterious scent blending the aromas of everything in the space, the creak of wooden floorboards… It’s peaceful, cozy, sunlight filters through cracks in the roof. These nostalgic childhood memories are cherished and won’t leave anyone indifferent who steps into such a café.

Photo 1 — A beautiful café with the romance of an old attic

Thanks to creativity, excellent taste, and clever design, a one-of-a-kind café interior was created. As we know, attics were typical in wooden houses. This was taken as the foundation for the space design. Wooden beams were used to redefine the room’s layout, mimicking side roof slopes, and also to decorate the ceiling. Walls are finished with wooden beams or their imitation (as per client’s preference), adorned with numerous antique clocks, small shelves, and black-and-white photos.

Along the walls, vintage wooden tables with solid wooden chairs with high backs are placed, covered with white narrow linen tablecloths. An antique wooden chest with intricate carvings, table lamps casting soft, diffused light, enhance the atmosphere of comfort, calm, and encourage intimate conversation.

Photo 3 — Arched windows and paper airplanes under the ceiling only emphasize the unique style

Window openings are framed with arches. Large windows let in abundant light and air. Paper airplanes floating under the ceiling emphasize the sense of height, creating the illusion of looking up from the ground, making them seem small and distant. Small ceiling lights are used for artificial lighting. The space is quite spacious, allowing tables to be placed not only along the walls but also in the center. The ceiling is a few shades lighter than the floor, so even with wooden beams, the sense of height is preserved.

Photo 4 — Antique items surrounding the space create the spirit of bygone eras

Many antique items were used in the interior, evoking the spirit of past times. These include furniture of varied design but consistent in style, old chests and wardrobes, aged or black-and-white retro photos, worn leather bags and satchels, grandmother’s trunks and suitcases, table lamps with quirky shades, kerosene lamps in glass, and iron birdcages. Shelves for books and magazines, and other small decorative items, are placed along the walls under the ceiling.

Trapezoidal transitions between café areas are designed without doors, using wooden beams and structural elements. The entrance door contrasts pleasantly with the warm wooden ambiance of the café, in a weathered grey-blue tone.
