And look how beautifully the hexagon mosaic looks. Here it was used for tiling the wall and the bathtub screen.

Hexagon + Contrasting Grout

Even a simple white hexagon can be played with in an interesting way. All you need is to choose a colored grout for the tiles.

For example, as in the project by studio UD Base: designers picked a bright yellow grout that matches the color of the painted walls.

Hexagon with Different Pattern

Arranging hexagons in a random order, without a clear sequence—this is a great way to place accents.

In this bathroom project, designers Anastasia and Bogdan Didus used another great hack: the tile pattern smoothly transitions from the wall to the floor, erasing boundaries and creating a sense of unified space.

For wall and floor tiling, they chose contrasting black and white hexagon tiles.

To break up the monochrome interior, designer Margarita Fomina came up with a non-traditional approach: she didn’t tile the whole wall and painted part of it yellow.

3D Pattern + Mirrors

The wall tiling in this bathroom resembles puzzles—the designer, Tatiana Bezhartaya, managed to find small mirrors in the same shape as the tiles.

In addition, an interesting effect was achieved thanks to 3D patterned tiles—used for tiling the floor, bathtub screen, and partially the wall.

For Accents Only

It's not necessary to tile the entire floor or walls with hexagons. For an interesting effect, just a few such tiles in wall tiling can be enough.

In Patchwork Style

Hexagon tiles in patchwork style—this is an excellent way to decorate a room without using other decorations. They can be mixed with solid-colored tiles or entirely tiled with them on a small wall.

The key is not to overdo it so that the active pattern doesn't overwhelm the eyes.

Hexagon + Wallpapers

For the main tiling of one of this house's bathrooms, designer Tatiana Bezhartaya chose vibrant blue wallpapers. The hexagons on the wallpaper were repeated in the tiles.
