10 Cool Ways to Use Hexagon Tile in the Bathroom
You'll be surprised at how differently the same shape can look in interior design
Hexagon tiles, or so-called "hexagons" or "honeycomb," can liven up even the most boring interior. In this guide, we've collected bathrooms with unusual finishes—draw inspiration for transforming your interior!
Hexagon + Simple Shape
In her project, designer Malika Boranbaeva combined tiles of different shapes: she used hexagon tiles and square tiles of the same color to cover the wall.

To make a combined bathroom look more spacious, designer Liliya Salah used quite light tiling. To prevent the space from looking dull and lifeless, she opted for tiles of different formats and sizes.
And look how beautifully the hexagon mosaic looks. Here it was used for tiling the wall and the bathtub screen.

In this bathroom project, designers Anastasia and Bogdan Didus used another great hack: the tile pattern smoothly transitions from the wall to the floor, erasing boundaries and creating a sense of unified space.

For wall and floor tiling, they chose contrasting black and white hexagon tiles.
To break up the monochrome interior, designer Margarita Fomina came up with a non-traditional approach: she didn’t tile the whole wall and painted part of it yellow.

The wall tiling in this bathroom resembles puzzles—the designer, Tatiana Bezhartaya, managed to find small mirrors in the same shape as the tiles.
In addition, an interesting effect was achieved thanks to 3D patterned tiles—used for tiling the floor, bathtub screen, and partially the wall.

Hexagon tiles in patchwork style—this is an excellent way to decorate a room without using other decorations. They can be mixed with solid-colored tiles or entirely tiled with them on a small wall.

For the main tiling of one of this house's bathrooms, designer Tatiana Bezhartaya chose vibrant blue wallpapers. The hexagons on the wallpaper were repeated in the tiles.
