How to Decorate a House if Windows Are Floor-to-Ceiling: Interior Behind Glass
When imagining a secluded forest cabin, you probably don’t envision something like this. Yet, according to American architect David Bourke and his colleague, designer Linda Woodrum, this is exactly what a contemporary country cottage should look like.
Working on this project, they aimed to realize all the latest and most fashionable interior trends.

The overall style of the home blends traditional and modern forms. Large panoramic glass windows combined with sliding door systems create a sense of transparency and seamless integration between interior and exterior spaces. Glass walls allow light to "travel" deep into the rooms.

Eclectic furniture and decorative accessories showcase a harmonious coexistence of textures and silhouettes from different eras.
An original and bold choice was using a large piece of a pine trunk as the main decorative accent in the living room.

The contrasting color palette, primarily composed of gray, cream, yellow, and orange tones, echoes the natural hues outside the window.
Unconventional bright colors for a "forest cabin," such as vivid yellow, help balance bold architectural choices. The interior feels light and harmonious despite the use of heavy, rough materials like wood and stone.
