IKEA launches the campaign «All Ideas in Order» and announces this month's new products, as well as the TENDKVARA collection designed to inspire a more eco-friendly home life

The new collection includes furniture, textiles and home accessories. All furniture pieces are made from rattan: they are lightweight, multifunctional and will beautify any room in your home.

Textiles made from linen and eco-friendly cotton are very pleasant to the touch, whether it's bed linen, towels, throws, pillows, a lamp, a carpet or a kimono. Bags and baskets woven from strong jute and seaweed can be taken on trips, or left at home to give your interior an atmosphere of wanderlust.

The TENDKVARA collection textiles were designed by designer Akanqsha Deo from India. «We wanted to create items that would bring you comfort and evoke special warm feelings,— the designer admits. — Here in India, I work a lot with indigo and natural dyes. So it all started with creating patterns and various combinations. Then came the time to choose materials. We knew they had to be natural only, so we immediately settled on linen, cotton and jacquard. I feel like the TENDKVARA textiles are calling out to you. You want to approach and touch them. The key definition of the items in this collection is «pleasant to the touch», but elegant understatement and adaptability are also important».

The TENDKVARA series combines Scandinavian freshness with Japanese tranquility. This gives birth to perfect imperfection. Each item is unique: the slight fabric crumple gracefully emphasizes that all pieces are handmade.

IKEA designers Inna Vuorivirta and Naike Karlsson worked on creating rattan items. They are meant to complement textiles. The harmony of the collection lies in the combination of color and material. A throw on the bench, a pillow on the stool or a kimono on the hanger soften and decorate rattan. This creates a dialogue between soft and hard elements, between elegance and casualness.

«Rattan is notable for its eco-friendliness. The fast-growing rattan vine is an important resource for people in various parts of Indonesia,— Naike clarifies. — Rattan is a recognizable material that requires no special care. Behind every detail and imperfection lies a whole story. It's one of my favorite materials. I wanted to emphasize its natural beauty, so I didn't polish it».

Inna tells how she came up with the «open wardrobe». It will help you set up additional storage space without overloading your interior. «I designed a room screen, but it can also be used for other purposes. I call this item «open wardrobe». It allows you to store clothes easily and naturally. This attractive casualness perfectly complements the overall mood of the TENDKVARA collection».

The screen can be decorated with fabric to make a full room divider. Or you can leave it as is and use it according to your mood.
