How to Use Furniture Transformers in Interior Design: 7 Examples
We have selected seven apartments, each with its own 'trick'. Even on an area of 22 sq. m, you can arrange a full bedroom, living room, and dining room. Take these ideas down for later!
Studio with Kitchen in Cabinet
This studio is only 33 square meters, and finding space for a full kitchen was not possible. Architect Ali Reza Nemati found a solution: he hid the kitchen block behind sliding doors of a cabinet. All furniture and appliances were custom-made, even coming up with a compact extractor hood using 3D printing technology and metal forming.

One-Room Apartment with Office-Dining Table
Designer Ira Nosova came up with a way to turn a mini dining table into an office. The dining table transforms into a workspace: behind the lifting furniture shutters, there's a mini office with a computer, printer, and shelves. Studio with Bed in Cabinet and Foldable Dining Table
This studio is 22 square meters, so designer Inessa Teranova had to find functional solutions. The space for a full-size bed was found right away once it was decided to hide it in a cabinet. The dining table folds into an unobtrusive wooden square when needed.

Studio with TV in Cabinet
Since this apartment has only one room, designer Roman Plusnin had to plan for a sleeping area that hides in a cabinet, a dining room, and a living room. A TV was built into one of the cabinets that can be moved aside to watch movies not only from the sofa but also from the bed.

Two-Room Apartment with Dining Room-Living Room
At first glance, there seems to be no space for guests in this apartment: the bar counter fits only two people. However, designers at Bureau 'Common Area' planned every detail: part of the countertop can be lifted to the living room area and set up a dinner for five people. The straight sofa scenario turns into an angular one.

One-Room Apartment with Home Cinema
See how designer Evgenia Ermolaeva hid a mini bedroom with a full-size bed behind a hanging barn door of a cabinet. In its closed state, the structure becomes a home cinema with a projector.

Two-Room Apartment with Invisible Bed
In the designer Maria Puzanova's project, the bed is also hidden but not in a cabinet, rather right in the wall. It was decorated with a fresco to avoid drawing attention to the structure. For convenience, a reading lamp, regular outlets, and USB ports for charging gadgets were built into the bed frame.
