In collaboration with African designers and artists, IKEA has developed simple and eco-friendly home products. Among the materials used are glass, plywood, and even chip packaging.

On May 16th, the new OVERRALLT collection by IKEA will be launched in stores, combining Scandinavian and African aesthetics. In partnership with ten artists and designers from five African countries, IKEA explored modern African traditions. We're highlighting the most interesting items that impressed us.

Chair Made from Unfinished Plywood

Created by Issa Diabate, a designer and architect from Côte d'Ivoire, this chair can be assembled or disassembled without nails or glue. Additionally, plywood is an affordable and eco-friendly material that everyone can afford.
