Bright Kitchens from Our Projects: 16 Pros and 9 Cons
A practical kitchen doesn't have to be monochrome. A vibrant color palette sets the mood for the interior and reflects the character of the apartment's owners.
Can't decide on a bright kitchen? We've prepared a collection of interiors with unusual and even bold color solutions — this will help you weigh all the "pros" and "cons".
Bright Red Passage Kitchen
Originally, this apartment had a tiny kitchen niche. The gas pipe didn't allow moving the kitchen or combining it with the living room. Therefore, the designer had to slightly reduce the bathroom to accommodate two parts of the kitchen cabinet.
Pros:
- functional zones are provided — for the stove and sink, as well as storage space;
- the glossy surface is easy to wipe with a damp cloth.
Cons:
- narrow space and small working surface don't allow active cooking in the kitchen;
- no windows.

Kitchen Where Eternal Summer Reigns
The owner of this apartment loves tropical plants, so the designer reflected the tropics theme in the kitchen decor.
Pros:
- ample storage space for kitchen appliances;
- attic cabinets can hide rarely used items and avoid cluttering the lower cabinets;
- kitchen cabinet made to ceiling prevents dust accumulation on upper cabinet surfaces.
Cons:
- there are small children in the family, so light cabinet fronts will often get dirty.

Boring Kitchen in a Moscow Stalin-era Apartment
A kitchen-living room is a real burst of color! To avoid overloading the small space, the designer diluted the vibrant color palette with a white apron.
Pros:
- plenty of space for storing dishes and other kitchen utensils;
- cabinets up to the ceiling prevent dust from accumulating on shelves.
Cons:
- in such a bright canary kitchen, decor should be used carefully.
