Customers of Natalia Suslina wanted to see Provence on their kitchen. To support this atmosphere, the designer used soft light green paint on the walls and natural sandy tones of furniture. It turned out quite warm and cozy.

Designer Tatiana Brimmer was given an apartment that was absolutely unsuitable for living. Her transformation began with the kitchen, which she made isolated using a glass loft partition. To add light to the room, she chose a soft color palette and a white glossy kitchen cabinet from IKEA for finishing.

They left the old brick wall and supported it with the same apron, while all walls were painted with a contrasting color.


Despite its brutality, it created an atmospheric space where it's pleasant to spend time.

This apartment was sold at a reduced price because the previous owner sold the full balcony-loggia to a neighbor, and behind the transparent balcony door appeared a brick wall.

"We turned this drawback into a functional advantage: especially since there was a French balcony on the kitchen and a loggia in the bedroom. We partially used the length of the stolen opening for the depth of the lower base of the kitchen, and the remaining part was turned into a niche with cabinets and shelves," — Ekaterina Burdina explains.

The work surface was increased by using the windowsill, and a niche was made along the wall with built-in appliances and cabinets with storage sections.
