How They Switched Off Gas, Added a Laundry Area and Other Cool Features on a Tiny 7 sqm Kitchen

We've already talked about this apartment in an old building that was transformed by talented designer Sergey Tregubov. First of all, he made the impossible possible — he connected the kitchen with the living room while the house is connected to the gas pipeline. Secondly, he implemented several cool solutions in this tiny kitchen. We'll talk about them now.

Switching Off Gas

The room combination became possible when the owners decided to switch off gas in the apartment and coordinated this decision with the relevant authorities.

Now, the kitchen features an induction ceramic cooktop and a microwave oven with a convection oven, which saves a significant portion of the working surface.

Smart Storage

Beneath the white vertical cabinet near the stove is a carousel of shelves for storing various spices. Very convenient, as everything is within reach 👍.

Hidden Ventilation

The latest trend in interior design is to completely hide kitchens. The minimalist facades and hidden ventilation of this kitchen perfectly align with that trend.

Sink by the Window

This might be a controversial placement of the sink, but it's just so beautiful! The height of the windowsill was not changed — space is left for indoor plants, which thrive in this apartment.

Laundry Area on the Kitchen
