Cute Swedish Cottage with Open Balcony
This cottage with a fireplace and bright cozy rooms will appeal to anyone tired of city hustle
This charming two-story cottage is located in the suburbs of Stockholm, in the village of Pershagen. The small building was originally built in 1928, but over time, several extensions were added to it, and a garage was also installed. The cottage has now been restored and transformed into a cozy retreat.
On two floors, there is a spacious kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, recreation rooms, and a laundry room. There is also an open balcony where you can have lunch or drink tea outdoors.
While the facade of the cottage was made bright, the interior features more subdued tones — part of the walls were painted in white and gray shades, while others were decorated with printed wallpapers.
In some rooms, wood paneling was used — it was also painted white. The floor was laid with warm-toned planks.
The interior was complemented with commemorative items — there are many interesting vintage pieces: mirrors, paintings, decorative and textile items. To make the interior look more vibrant and welcoming, the owners adorned it with planters containing green plants.
The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, where you can spend cozy family evenings.

The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden: here grow cypress trees, apple and pear trees, rhododendrons, lilac, and lavender. Soon they will bloom, making the view from the windows even more beautiful.
A tent was set up on the plot and a dining area was created — guests can be entertained and breathe fresh air. There is also an outdoor shower and a jacuzzi.
