In our view, there is no color that wouldn't suit bedroom decor. The only question is how delicately to apply it. However, there are a few tips that will help you decide on a color palette.

Consider natural lighting

If the bedroom windows face the sunny side, use soft cool tones. This will add freshness and coolness to the interior. Light shades of blue, lavender, pistachio, and soft turquoise work well when combined with white or pearl gray. They also help visually expand the space and give it a light, airy feel.

If the bedroom is cold and lacks light, warm pastel tones will come to the rescue. Suitable are all pale shades of beige, yellow, gold, peach, and terracotta.

Darker colors at the bottom, lighter ones on top

Use darker tones in the lower part of the space and lighter ones above. This creates a sense of height and visually lifts the ceiling.

Use monochromatic combinations

To relax at the end of the day and give your eyes a break. If you want to add more color, use soft shades: pale sage or soft blue.

Even a beginner in design won't go wrong mixing several shades of the same tone. First, choose any color that brings joy to your eyes and sets a pleasant mood.

Natural tones and textures

Light beige, noble brown, olive, and ochre shades mixed with rich wood textures will create a warm and peaceful atmosphere in the bedroom. That's why eco-style bedrooms are so popular now.

Avoid dark and overly bright tones

Especially if you spend a lot of time in the room working and relaxing. Dark and overly bright shades can be aggressive, often causing feelings of anxiety and stress. It's impossible to sleep well and restore energy in such a space.

If you want to create an energetic atmosphere in the bedroom, add bright accents. For example, we mixed traditional bedroom blue with vibrant gold in the headboard. This option works well for spacious rooms.

Use white color

There is a belief that white interiors look cold and evoke unpleasant associations. In our view, white color represents purity and simplicity, and the mood can be created with colored accents: curtains, pillows, rugs. Such interiors are easy to change without major expenses.
