Apartment in Sweden with Kitchen You Will Want to Replicate
Not all spacious apartments are designed conveniently, but this one in Stockholm with 116 square meters has no issues with zoning or storage systems.
The apartment has four rooms, two of which are a bedroom and a child's room. There is also a large public area where the living room and kitchen are combined. Additionally, there is a space that can serve as an extra bedroom, library, or part of the living room depending on the needs of the homeowners.

The presence of two large tile fireplaces in the living room and bedroom is explained by the age of the house — it was built in 1881. The house is historical and very beautiful, with colorful architecture and sandstone, orange, and golden tones in its exterior.

Designers from real estate agency Per Jansson, who prepared the apartment for sale, included colors from the facade and hallway palette in the interior design, making the finished space echo the external appearance of the house.

When examining the apartment's interior, one should pay attention to one of the bathrooms: the wet zone with a bathtub and shower was enclosed by a glass partition, keeping the plumbing fixtures and furniture always dry, as they should be. The bedroom nightstand was creatively solved by replacing the standard piece of furniture with an antique chest.

However, we consider the kitchen to be the most successful part of this apartment. It was planned in a linear layout with an island bar counter and a pair of woven tall chairs. Despite the small size of the kitchen unit, it features both closed doors and glass shelves for wine, a built-in refrigerator and extractor hood, which is both convenient and visually appealing.

The combination of cabinetry in the color of condensed milk with marble countertops, gray accents, and brass details gives the kitchen a homely, lived-in look while also adding a touch of glamour.
All of this makes it a harmonious extension of the living room and a great foundation for any other setting if the current one becomes tiresome.
