Placement of snow retainers is determined based on snow load, roof slope length, and angle of inclination. Depending on these factors, the spacing between brackets is calculated and may be 600 mm, 900 mm, or 1200 mm.

It is best to plan snow retainer installation before starting roofing work. If this was not done, it’s not a problem—snow retainer components can be securely attached to almost any roof surface using special screws with sealing sleeves made from weather-resistant rubber, ensuring roof waterproofing.

Snow retainers should be installed parallel to the eaves and must be placed directly above dormer windows. Installation can be done in a straight row by connecting individual sections, or in a staggered pattern. For long roof slopes (over 5.5 meters), multiple rows of sections are recommended.
