As inspiration, we took an interior with traditional classical elements that Russians love so much. In such interiors, there are always comfortable and elegant soft furniture items and numerous decorations.

Starting the work: Creating a mood board

To create the desired atmosphere, you need to compose a "picture of images and moods" — a mood board. The basis of our idea is a small urban apartment. In my mood board, light tones, natural materials, and plant motifs predominate.

Moving to Implementation

For the floor, we choose light-colored parquet with warm tones. Using wallpapers with geometric patterns, we create an accent wall. For contrast, a natural wood dark-colored cornice would suit. Transparent and shiny elements of such a chandelier will add freshness and lightness. A summer motif in the interior will support a plant pattern on the curtains. A lace-like pattern of the ceiling cornice will add French charm. Visually "remove" the ceiling using white paint and expand the room space. Add cozy details such as candles or warm throws. Pillows in current dusty rose color will create gentle accents.

Combining soft furniture and gentle tones is an excellent solution for a warm atmosphere in the living room. Classical elements of furniture and decor always look fresh against monochromatic walls. Flower prints bring charm. A simple idea to execute — a composition of painted gypsum roses on the wall — will create a feeling of a summer day in the room.
