Wallpapers with active patterns
Vinyl or fleece wallpapers with a bright pattern can easily mask wall defects. By the way, photo wallpapers also work great — just make sure they're matte.

Wooden planks (Vagonka)
This material perfectly hides minor irregularities and also improves sound insulation. Thanks to its natural structure and organic patterns, wooden planks blend well into Scandinavian and eco styles, Provence, and cottage styles. You can also paint them in any color.
To avoid associations with a country house interior, cover only one wall that needs leveling with this material.
Cork panels
This is an eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, and easy-to-install material. Cork panels are also durable, easy to clean, and offer sound insulation properties.

Wooden panels
These look great in spacious rooms. Wooden panels, like cork ones, provide additional sound insulation. Since the material is quite expensive, you can replace it with wood-styled panels.
Textiles
You can decorate a wall with curtains or fabric. Choose a material with a complex composition, resistant to fading, wiping, and dirt. Of course, washing will still be necessary.

Decorative elements
To draw attention away from uneven walls, shift it to bold accessories. Large-format wall art, paintings, posters, sculptures, tableware, flowers, photos, and rugs can help to play with wall irregularities and enrich the interior design.

Furniture
The easiest solution: place a cabinet, shelf, or hang wall shelves — no need to worry about extra decoration.

Turn negatives into positives
The loft style is ideal for covering uneven walls — its feature is unfinished materials and rough textures. This option might not suit everyone, but if you decide to go for it, you don’t even have to paint the wall.
