Russian designers share their impressions

Anna Muravina, Nadezhda Zотовa, Alena Yudina, Olga Kossyrevа and Daria Balasheva shared what impressed them most at the exhibition. The trend towards juicy shades and designer carpets is leading.

The exhibition pleased me – this year it is much more interesting and popular than in previous years. This is very encouraging. The Italian company Cavio Casa left a strong impression with its excellent booth design and incredible lighting fixtures, as well as interesting and unusual carpets displayed at the Loloey stand.

iSaloni Worldwide Moscow continues to surprise every year! It seems like everything has already been seen in Milan, but I don't leave the exhibition without fresh ideas and inspiration. This autumn delighted with deep colors and complex textures. Appetizing pumpkin, complex mustard, and rich wine tones blend with cozy tweed and velvet in the furniture of minimalist forms. I can't wait to use these elements in new projects!

Olga Kossyrevа

I want to tell about one of my acquaintances – Belgian carpets from Thibault Van Renne. The founder's father was a teacher of younger classes in Ghent and somewhere on a trip accidentally bought a carpet. He brought it home and sold it – he was convinced. Sold it at a good price. Since then, he started transporting carpets regularly, opened a store, and sold them at weekends while working in school during weekdays. In my opinion, such stories alone are worth visiting the exhibition and traveling to it.

The exhibition is not as large as in Europe, but still managed to bring together all the main interior design trends – rounded forms, saturated pumpkin-brown hues, and frame structures – and introduce new brands. I particularly want to highlight Calligaris with its incredible geometry and vibrant colors. At first, I couldn't leave the pink-cranberry dining set, and then – I couldn't get off those amazing pumpkin chairs. The shape and color are simply perfect!

Excellent exhibition by Kartell. Updated elegant Selva. Very beautiful collection of Kelly Wearstler lighting fixtures for Visual Comfort made from brass with quartz. I liked the Neapolis Casa stand – a panoramic print with an old engraving on the walls looked simply magical! I found a carpet for my project at the Loloey stand. The furniture by Marina Putilovskaya for Medea impressed me greatly – it’s truly a new look at Art Nouveau.
